Today is the Memorial Day for all unborn children who have been aborted. We made our own signs and decided to go out and pray with some other Pro-Lifers like our friend Patti and her daughters Cassidy and Sophia. Ethan and Emily held their signs that said, "Glad my birth mom chose adoption" while Elena's sign said, "Adoption is the better option". There isn't a day that goes by that Joel and I don't look into the adorable faces of Ethan and Emily and think about how their birthmom's could have easily chosen to abort them. I'm so thankful they chose life. What a blessing children are. It was supposed to be a silent prayer vigil, but my kids were far from silent. Everett found his voice yesterday and has been telling us all about it! Ethan and Emily would pretend their signs were swords and whack each other with them while giggling. God knows our efforts and the intention of our hearts. :)
